We have been visiting the Davis/Thomas area for years. Recently we discovered the Purple Fiddle. This establishment is everything that its website claims. The food is excellent, the beers good and cold, and the music great.
We would recommend taking the kids there during the day for lunch, for ice cream, or just to play and look around. The evening scene for the music is a bit more adult, but children over 6 or so could certainly attend if they wanted.
If you are in the lovely town of Thomas, make the Purple Fiddle a must see stop.
