First Settled in 1812 by Samuel Tanner, Spencer is home to many historic attractions, some of which are included in the National Registry of Historical Places. If you are looking for recreation, Charles Fork Lake, the site of the annual Tour de Lake bike race, features boating, fishing, walking, and bike trails.
