Cafe Cimino~Sutton
Chef/Owners Tim and Melody Urbanic invite you to their family restaurant in the downtown Historic District of Sutton, West Virginia. Cafe Cimino is housed in a renovated Italinate Revival building, circa 1900, on the corner of Main and 4th Street. Cafe Cimino was awarded the designation as a historically significant building by the West Virginia State Office of Historic Preservation and has been accepted by the National Parks Service register of Historic Buildings for the work done thus far in renovating the 100 year old hardware store. Guests marvel at Cafe Cimino's beautifully ornate original metal ceiling and the warm rustic charm of the original American Chestnut floor. The spacious and elegant dining room accommodates 60-80 patrons and has a beautiful view of other historic buildings on Main Street; including the Courthouse Square and the Landmark Studio for the Arts, a restored Gothic Revival Church, both circa 1880. The original 1901 brick paving that surrounds Cafe Cimino, as well as the beautiful tree-lined courtyard, adds to the charm and ambiance.
Cafe Cimino is named after Tim's Grandma and Grandpa Cimino, Italian immigrants who taught him about food from appreciating the ethnic flavors, to growing the herbs and vegetables, to cooking the famous Cimino family recipes. Tim specializes in Southern Italian Cuisine and European dishes. Only the finest ingredients are used to prepare your meals at Cafe Cimino. Whenever possible, Tim uses his own organically grown herbs and vegetables grown on his family farm, in Chloe, West Virginia.
