About Us
The CVB's mission, simply stated, is to "strive each day to positively impact the area's economy. We do this by marketing the region as a premier tourist destination."
Now in its seventh year of operation, the Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau was formally created in September of 2000 and organized in January of 2001. Since that time, the CVB has grown to be one of the largest bureaus by budget in the state of West Virginia.
The CVB staff, along with a dedicated Board of Directors comprised of tourism professionals and county and city officials, have done an admirable job of fulfilling the mission of the CVB. Our region is now the second most visited region in the state with 1.3 million visitors annually and an economic impact of approximately $231 million.
