A truly unique apartment on the 3rd floor of the oldest building in Davis-the old Bank Building. This apartment has a new bath, full kitchen and really large open room of 1,500 square feet, with huge old turn-of-the-century windows that overlook downtown Davis. Room may be used as an apartment, or as an artist's studio. Think very large, very open, and lots of light from the many windows. Spaces such as this are extremely rare. The building has retail spaces and the local Post Office, and another five apartments. This is a walk-up via those old wide, beautiful wooden stairs and banisters that just aren't seen any more. The building is of big sandstone blocks built to last for another few hundred years. We would like to offer it as-is: which is to say, unfurnished but clean with its own gas-fired heating system. But it could be "furnished" depending on the term of the rental. Any term rental will be considered, but the previous folks liked it so much, they lived there for 4-years.
